Teens love music and especially the events where they can come together to enjoy it! Something even better though is being able to participate and have an open mic night. I attended The Blue Room down on 18th and vine last Monday, and it was a phenomenal experience. They had an open mic, so anyone could get up to perform vocals or play an instrument. There were many different musicians there such as a pianist, saxophonist, trumpet player, trombone player, drummers, and guitarist. There were also amazing vocals being performed with live music in the background.

The Blue Room

This event was filled with many teens and adults, and even though there was no security it still felt safe. The environment was very comfortable and cozy. They did not have food, but there are a couple food places around that you can order from. They had a bar there for the adults and no one abused it. The event was FREE entry!! You did not have to pay to watch or perform which was great. It felt good being around people who enjoyed music just as much as I do, and watching some of my friends be bold enough to go up and perform was beautiful. Everyone was very supportive of the people who went up and performed and it had amazing vibes. This event takes place every Monday with a different host. You should definitely check this event out!
